TEMA India is an Indian engineering business specialising in manufacture of Heat exchangers. It has its headquarters at Mumbai in Maharashtra, India. The company is a member of Heat Transfer Society International.

History
In 1975, Haresh Sippy set-up a manufacturing facility, Leo Engineering Works, which manufactured Shell & Tube Heat Exchangers. The Company started with conventional shell and tube exchangers in carbon steel and later moved to higher metallurgies. Tema India Limited was incorporated on 21 December 1984 as a private limited company under the name of Tema Exchanger Manufacturers Private Limited. Subsequently, the legal structure of the Company was changed and the name of the Company was changed to its present name on 19 November 1999.

Patent
Tema has an Indian patent for fitting the shrink ring on the threaded portion of the screw plug enclosure.
Manufacturing facilities
TEMA INDIA set up its first facility at Achchhad, Maharashtra. The company has since opened two more manufacturing facilities at Kherdi, Maharashtra and Panoli, Gujarat. The manufacturing facilities are accredited by American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) and TEMA India as a company is part of Heat Transfer Society International (HTRI).
